USA 20th Century history game |
Playing this game is a super way to learn the chronology of key historical events. Students will be shown the title of an historical event and their job is to click on the timeline to place a nest at the date the event took place. The hens in the game are History experts and they will fire their eggs towards the correct date. If the student's estimate is good the eggs will be caught in the nest. Get the estimate wrong and it all gets very messy.

Teachers can choose a historical topic and challenge their students with an activity. Or, they can create activities for their students and assign them using the code provided from the DocsTeach.org web site.
DocsTeach.org is an online tool for teaching with documents from the National Archives. On the web site, teachers will discover thousands of primary sources and learning activities. When registered for a free account, teachers can borrow from and modify an ever-expanding collection of activities, plus create unique ones using the online tools. Log in and create classrooms full of activities, then share the classroom’s auto generated code with your students to access on their iPads. |
